A. Appointment Of Firefighters: Firefighters shall be appointed at such time and in such manner as the town council may deem necessary. The fire department shall set physical and mental standards for each firefighter and appointee. The firefighters shall be subject to supervision by the fire chief. (1986 Code § 4-2-5)
B. Departmental Rules And Regulations: The fire department shall be operated and managed by the fire chief in accordance with such departmental rules and regulations as may from time to time be adopted by the town council. (1986 Code § 4-2-2)
C. Compensation: The fire chief and firefighters shall be compensated as determined by the town council. (1986 Code § 4-2-3)
