A. Exhibition Of Permit:
1. Every permittee carrying on a business at a fixed place shall keep such permit posted and exhibited, while in force, in some conspicuous part of the place of business. Every permittee not having a fixed place of business, shall carry the permit with him at all times while carrying on that business for which the same was granted.
2. Every sponsor of a special event shall post the business permit and the temporary use permit required under this Chapter in a conspicuous location during all hours of the special event.
3. Every permittee shall produce and exhibit their permit whenever requested to do so by any police officer or by any citizen. If the permittee or any person engaged or employed by the permittee shall refuse or neglect to exhibit the permit, such person shall be guilty of a violation of this Chapter.
B. Location Restrictions: No permittee hereunder shall have any exclusive right to any location in a public street, nor shall the permittee be permitted to operate in any congested area where his operations might impeded or inconvenience the public. For the purpose of this Chapter, the judgment of a police officer, exercised in good faith, shall be deemed conclusive as to whether the area is congested or the public is impeded or inconvenienced. No business activity shall be carried on in any area of the Town where such business activity is prohibited by the Town's zoning regulations.
C. Nontransferable: No permit granted or issued under the provisions of this Chapter shall be in any manner assignable or transferable to any other person without permission from the Finance Department.
D. Change Of Place Of Business: No permit issued under the provisions of this Chapter shall apply to any place of business other than that designate in such permit, unless a change of place of permitted business shall be first approved by the Finance Department. (Ord. 129, 2-25-1997)
