6-3-1: AUTHORITY TO ERECT SIGNS; OBEDIENCE:
The police chief, after discussion with the public works director and with the approval of the town manager, may erect signs requiring parking at an angle to the curb, allowing parking on the left hand curb on one-way streets, notifying drivers that parking is prohibited, and restricting parking in any way that may be necessary. When such signs have been erected, no person shall stop or stand a vehicle in disobedience to such parking restrictions. The town manager, in an open meeting, will advise the town council of any authorized changes. (Ord. 05-243, 1-25-2005)
