Whoever violates any provision of this chapter, fails to comply with any lawful order issued by the Street Commissioner under the provisions of this chapter, or proceeds in the construction, alteration, repair or demolition of any driveway or sidewalk in a manner which does not comply with the approved plans and permit issued for such work under the provisions of this chapter shall be fined not more than $250 or imprisoned for a period not more than 30 days or both. Each day of violation shall be a separate offense.
