(A) In addition to any other remedy provided for by law, the maker of any check which is made payable to the village and returned marked insufficient funds or account closed after presentment to the drawee bank may be charged the sum of $10, plus any other expenses incurred by the village in connection with the returned check. The amount shall be collected in any lawful manner.
(B) Amounts collected pursuant to this section shall be deposited in the General Fund.
