(A) The Residential Building Department for the Village of Smithville, Ohio is hereby created for the purpose of providing uniform standards and requirements for the erection, construction, repair, alteration and maintenance of residential buildings as specified in R.C. § 3781.06.
(B) The Agreement, a copy of which is attached to Ordinance 2006-5 and incorporated herein, providing for administration and enforcement of the Residential Code of Ohio for residential structures in the Village with the Board of County Commissioners of Wayne County, Ohio is hereby approved and the Mayor is authorized to execute the Agreement on behalf of the Village.
