§ 71.31   NEED FOR CLEANING.
   (A)   Whenever, in the opinion of the Public Works Director of the City Council of Slayton, the need for cleaning of streets exists in the city, or in a section or sections thereof, because of accumulated dirt, dust, grime or other debris, the Public Works Director may order that the streets be cleaned by the Street Department employees of the City of Slayton.
   (B)   If the Public Works Director is absent from the city or is unable to act, the street cleaning may be ordered by the Public Works Coordinator.
   (C)   Notice of the street cleaning shall be given by the posting of appropriate signs in a conspicuous place at each street and avenue included in the street cleaning. There shall be an interval of at least 6 hours between the time that signs are first posted and the commencement of the street cleaning.
