§ 152.04     GENERAL DISTRICT PROVISIONS.
   (A)   Establishment of districts. The following zoning classifications are hereby established within the City of Slayton.
      (1)   Agricultural district: A-O; Agricultural-Open Space District.
      (2)   Residential districts:
         (a)   R-1; Low Density Residential District;
         (b)   R-2; Medium Density Residential District;
         (c)   R-3; Mobile Home Residential District; and
         (d)   R-M; Mobile Home Park District.
      (3)   Business districts:
         (a)   B-1; Highway Business District; and
         (b)   B-2; Central Business District.
      (4)   Industrial district: I-1; General Industrial District.
      (5)   Special districts:
         (a)   PUD; Planned Unit Development District; and
         (b)   W; Wetland Systems District.
   (B)   Map.
      (1)   The location and boundaries of the districts established by this chapter are hereby set forth on the zoning map entitled “Zoning Map of Slayton.”
      (2)   The map shall be on file with the Zoning Official, and hereinafter referred to as the zoning map, which map and all of the notations, references and other information shown thereon shall have the same force and effect as if fully set forth herein and thereby made a part of this chapter by reference.
   (C)   Annexed territory. Annexed territory shall be in the A-O District, unless special action is taken to place it in another district.
   (D)   Zoning district boundaries. Zoning district boundary lines of this chapter follow lot lines, right-of-way lines, the center of streets or water courses or the corporate limit lines, all as they exist upon the effective date of this chapter. Where a district boundary line divides a lot at the time of passage of this chapter, the extension of regulations for either portion of the lot may be interpreted by the Slayton Planning Commission upon request of the owner.
