(A) The terms of the 7 members of the City Library Board initially appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the City Council shall be as follows: three shall hold office for 1 year, two for 2 years, and two for 3 years.
(B) All terms shall end with the fiscal year of the City of Slayton.
(C) Annually thereafter the Mayor with the approval of the City Council shall appoint Board members for the term of 3 years to replace Board members whose terms are expiring.
(D) A Library Board member shall not be eligible to serve more than 3 consecutive 3-year terms.
