Pursuant to the local option granted to municipalities whose population is less than 2,500 people in M.S. § 16B.73, the City of Slayton elects not to make the provisions of the State Building Code applicable, except the requirements for handicapped persons, within the jurisdictional limits of the City of Slayton.
