All existing numbers of property and buildings not now in conformity to the system herein adopted shall be numbered to conform to the system within 6 months from the date of passage of this chapter.
(A) A separate number shall be assigned for each 10 feet of frontage.
(B) Each principal building shall bear the number assigned to the frontage on which the front entrance is located. In case a principal building is occupied by more than 1 business or family dwelling unit, each separate entrance of the principal building shall bear a separate number.
(C) Numerals indicating the official numbers for each principal building or front entrance to the building shall be posted in a manner as to be visible from the street on which the property is located. Each property owner shall assume the cost of numerals.
