There is hereby established a Purchasing Officer for the City of Skiatook who shall have the authority and duties as set forth in this chapter. The Purchasing Officer shall be appointed by the City Council and shall serve at their pleasure. No bond shall be required of a Purchasing Officer. The City Council, in its discretion, may appoint one or more Purchasing Officers. The City Manager shall be a designated Purchasing Officer for the City by virtue of the position, unless otherwise provided by motion or resolution of the City Council. (Ord. 2013-04, 2-26-2013)
