2-2-2: ELECTION AND TERM OF CHAIRMAN, SECRETARY:
Immediately after the appointment and qualification of the members, the planning commission shall meet and elect one of their number chairman and one of their number secretary, which officers, when elected, shall hold office for one year, or until their successors are elected and qualified. (1991 Code § 1-1051)
