A. Territorial Jurisdiction: This title shall be in full force and effect and shall apply to all lands within the incorporated limits of the city.
B. Public Property: Property owned, leased, or operated by the city or any other public or governmental body or agency shall be subject to the terms of this title.
C. Annexed Territory:
1. When any territory shall be brought into the zoning jurisdiction of the city by annexation or otherwise, such territory shall be deemed to be zoned at the classification assigned to it by the authority having zoning jurisdiction prior to the annexation or by that zoning classification of the city consistent with the land use prior to annexation. This provision shall not operate to preclude rezoning of such property by amendment in the manner set forth in chapter 16 of this title.
2. This provision shall not operate to preclude subsequent rezoning of such property by amendment in the manner set forth in chapter 16 of this title. (1991 Code § 16-11-110)
