A. Registration: No person shall perform mechanical work within the city unless such person is a mechanical contractor licensed by the state of Oklahoma and has registered with the city clerk. A mechanical contractor shall perform only mechanical work for which he is licensed and for which a permit has been issued. (1991 Code § 4-108; amd. Ord. 2013-3, 2-12-2013)
B. Fees: The fees for registration and renewal thereof shall be uniform and shall be assessed on an annual basis and shall be in such amount as the city council may, from time to time, prescribe by resolution. Until otherwise provided by the city council, the fee for registration shall be twenty dollars ($20.00). (1991 Code § 4-111)
C. Expiration And Renewal Of Registration: All registrations and renewals shall expire on June 30 of each year. The fee for the initial registration shall be reduced by fifty percent (50%) when the registration encompasses a period of six (6) months or less. (1991 Code § 4-112)
