A. City Council Consent For Conducting Certain Activities: No person, firm or corporation shall engage in any activity at the Skiatook Municipal Airport other than normal motorized aircraft operations without the consent of the city council given at a duly held public meeting.
B. Regulation Of Airport Use:
1. The city council may from time to time establish rules and regulations for the operation of and activities permitted at the Skiatook Municipal Airport, including, but not limited to:
a. Defining permissible uses of the airport;
b. Defining prohibited uses of the airport;
c. Establishing restrictions, conditions and limitations upon use of the airport; and
d. Making any other rule or regulation governing operations at and use of the facility. (Ord. 93-09, 11-30-1993)
2. Copies of rules and regulations relating to the airport made by the city council shall be maintained by the city clerk and made available for inspection by the public. (Ord. 93-09, 11-30-1993; amd. Ord. 2013-3, 2-12-2013)
C. Suspension Of Rules And Regulations For Public Event: Whenever airshows or other public events are conducted within the city which, in the opinion of the city council, are beneficial for the city, the city council may suspend any rule or regulation previously made for the duration of such public event (not to exceed, however, a period of 48 hours) during which time the rules and regulations previously made shall not apply.
