When a permit is issued, construction shall be completed in accordance with the specifications and plans set forth in the permit and shall be completed within seventy two (72) hours after commencement of work. After seventy two (72) hours, if the work is not completed, completion may be done by the city, the cost of which will be borne by the contractor or its surety. A permit will be valid for only thirty (30) days after the date of its issuance. (Ord. 2000-10, 8-29-2000)
