7-1-10: DRIVING OR PARKING IN PARKS, AIRPORT:
It shall be unlawful within the public parks and the Skiatook Municipal Airport to drive, park or otherwise permit any motorized vehicle elsewhere in any park of the city or on land above described as the Skiatook Municipal Airport, other than upon improved roadways and parking areas within said parks, except in the following situations:
   A.   Governmental units, utility companies or their agents while in the normal course of business.
   B.   Leaseholders of private property within the boundaries of the Skiatook Municipal Airport upon their own leased land or property.
   C.   Persons who are associated with special events authorized by the park board. Event examples include, but are not limited to, Pioneer Day, car shows, picnics. Persons who lease a park for a specific event are hereby given authority to regulate traffic during such event. (2011 Code)
   D.   Persons who have shelter reservations from the city clerk's office may have access to shelters or band shells for loading and unloading equipment and supplies. (2011 Code; amd. Ord. 2013-3, 2-12-2013)
   E.   In compliance with the Americans with disabilities act and resolution 2616, those persons who qualify are permitted to drive vehicles within the parks if no hard surface is available. (2011 Code)
