8-2-5: SPECIFICATIONS FOR SEWER LATERALS:

The sewer laterals shall be installed within one-fourth inch (1/4") for grade and shall not be off more than one-half inch (1/2") for alignment as certified by a licensed professional civil engineer, journeyman, plumber, certified Town operator, or the Town building inspector. (1993 Code § 12.08.080)
