8-2-3: WYE OR TEE FITTING SPECIFICATIONS:

A. Wye or tee fitting shall be installed in the main line sewer for connection of surface lines. Wye or tee fittings shall be of material and design and specifications acceptable to the Town Engineer.

B. Joining of service pipe to wye or tee branches of main line pipe other than PVC shall be accomplished with special joint adapters manufactured specifically for joining the two (2) different types of pipe. (1993 Code § 12.08.060)
