Removing a speed hump may be considered when the criteria listed below are met:
(A) The process for speed hump removal or alteration by citizens is the same as the process for installation with the exceptions that no petition shall be considered until three years have expired after the installation and the petitioner’s cost share associated with such removal shall be set at 66.67% of the total.
(B) In addition, the removal procedure and cost share only apply to those speed humps that were installed after the effective date of this subchapter.
(C) The city retains the authority to remove or alter any speed humps upon its own.
(D) By default the city will not participate in cost sharing for the removal of a speed hump, except by Commission approval.
