The franchise holder shall provide and use for the purpose of disposal of the garbage, trash and debris collected, a solid waste disposal site or facility approved by and under the regulation of the Kentucky Department of Health in accordance with KRS 211.700 et seq., or the applicable state where the disposal site or facility is located. In addition, the franchise holder shall comply with all laws, ordinances, and regulations applying to its activities under the franchise shall be subject to the regulations of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the Shelby County Board of Health. The franchise specifically excludes the collection of medical waste, as that term is defined in the Kentucky Revised Statutes.
