The revenues produced by the sales tax ordinance shall be used exclusively as follows:
A. Twenty five percent (25%) of the sales tax revenue shall be used for the repair, maintenance, construction, and general improvement of the town's streets, roads, and alleys.
B. Seventy five percent (75%) of the sales tax revenue shall be used for the funding, assistance in funding, and administration of law enforcement within the town, including the hiring and retaining of qualified police officers. (Ord. 233, 2-5-2002, eff. 7-1-2002)
