6-3B-3: QUALIFIED MAINTENANCE MANAGER AND CERTIFIED FACILITY OPERATOR:
   A.   Qualified Maintenance Manager: There is hereby created the position of qualified maintenance manager who shall be appointed by the board of trustees and shall be paid such remuneration for the performance of his duties as the board may fix from time to time. (Ord. 212, 8-3-1999)
      1.   The duties of the qualified maintenance manager, hereinafter referred to as QMM, shall consist of the following:
         a.   The QMM shall be responsible for the management of the wastewater system and all of the property appertaining thereto and shall see that such system is kept in good working order and repair.
         b.   The QMM shall ensure proper compliance with all local, state and federal regulations for collection, treatment and discharge of wastewater.
         c.   The QMM shall designate the location of each new connection to the wastewater system and keep adequate records of the location of all connections and the general plans of the system.
         d.   The QMM shall make recommendations to the board for improvements, additions, and repairs to the wastewater system and provide recommendations for the annual budgeting of funds for the operation and maintenance of the sewage works.
         e.   The QMM shall perform all other duties in connection with the wastewater system as may be required of him by the board. (Ord. 212, 8-3-1999; amd. Ord. 252, 9-6-2005)
   B.   Certified Facility Operator: There is hereby created the position of certified facility operator who shall be appointed by the board of trustees and shall be paid such remuneration for the performance of his duties as the board may fix from time to time.
      1.   The certified facility operator shall be trained and licensed by the appropriate state or federal entities as required for the performance of those duties as set forth in sections 6-3B-10 through 6-3B-14 of this article. (Ord. 252, 9-6-2005)
