(A) The services of the Building Department and the Building Commissioner shall be expanded to include the ability to accept and approve plans and specifications, make inspections, and have enforcement authority of the building standards of the State of Ohio pursuant to R.C. §§ 3781.03 et seq. and as adopted from time to time and enforcement of the provisions of the Ohio Basic Building Code, for all use groups covered by the statute except Group I-3 and Plumbing.
(B) These services shall be performed by the then appointed Building Commissioner or his designated filed and authorized backup representative.
