This Charter is intended to be flexible and to be changed to meet changing conditions as the municipality develops, in order that the best interests of those who live and work here may continue to be served. Amendments may be submitted to the electors by a two-thirds vote of Council, or shall be submitted upon petition signed by ten percent of electors. The text of the proposed amendment shall be distributed to the electors via a method determined by the Hamilton County Board of Elections or via posting on the City’s official website not less than thirty days prior to an election at which such amendments are to be voted upon. If any such amendment is approved by a majority of the electors voting thereon, it shall become a part of the Charter of this municipality.
