ARTICLE IX - POLICE AND FIRE PROTECTION

The Council shall provide for public safety adequate to the needs of the municipality, to be administered in accordance with the general laws of Ohio; or, if not in conflict with such general laws by ordinance. The Council shall determine the ranks and members of required personnel and may provide for auxiliary police.
