Every permit to make a connection with a city sewer shall show on its face that it is granted, subject to the express condition that the owner of the premises for whose benefit the connection is made, and the lessee of those premises, where the connection is made for the benefit of a lessee, and every succeeding owner or lessee, shall in consideration of the privilege thereby granted and enjoyed, save and hold the city harmless of any loss or damage which may in any way result from, or be occasioned by, the installation or maintenance of a sewer connection.
