123.04 FEES FOR COPYING, CERTIFYING, MAILING, AND NOTARIZING DOCUMENTS.
   (a)   For Copying Documents and Records Maintained by the Village of Silver Lake Police Department, Service Department and Office of the Clerk-Treasurer.
(1)   For copies of either letter or legal size documents the fees shall be as follows:
A.   For one to twenty-five copies there is no charge.
B.   For twenty-six or more copies, there is a fee of five cents ($.05) per page beginning with the twenty-sixth page.
(2)   For video or cassette tapes, the fee shall be the replacement cost for the tapes and/or the reproduction (copying) cost for the tapes. Reproduction costs will only be charged if a commercial or professional service is contracted to provide the copy. If the Village of Silver Lake creates the copy, no reproduction fee will be charged.
(3)   For any other type of media, the fee shall be the replacement or reproduction cost for that particular media.
   (b)   For Mailing Documents and Records Maintained by the Village of Silver Lake Police Department, Service Department and Office of the Clerk-Treasurer.
(1)   Requests for one to twenty-five pages will be mailed to the requestor at no cost.
(2)   Requests that exceed twenty-five pages will require payment for charges for copies, postage and the envelope required to mail the documents. A payment statement shall be mailed to the requestor of the documents.
   All accounts shall be paid within thirty days from the date of billing.
   Persons who fail to pay for public records received shall be classified as delinquent and the Village will not respond or process any further requests for mailed documents.
(3)   Requests which exceed fifty pages shall require advance payment from the requestor for the cost of copies, postage and the envelope required to mail the documents. A prepayment request shall be prepared and provided to the requestor. Upon receipt of payment, the records shall be provided to the requestor.
