(a) The owner and his or her contractor shall comply with all applicable building standards and codes governing the construction and installation of an antenna.
(b) Except for television antennas, all antennas and ancillary equipment associated therewith, shall conform to the following minimum standards:
(1) Only galvanized metal support, or construction equal thereto, or guy wires, shall be allowed.
(2) Only a concrete base or caisson, or a chimney, depending on soil conditions, shall be employed in line with grade.
(3) The structure shall be designed to withstand wind force of 75 miles per hour or greater, in a manner conforming to sound engineering practice.
(4) Any driving motor or low voltage motor as defined by the National Electrical Code shall be limited to 36 volt maximum power design and shall be encased in a protective guard.
(5) All underground and overhead electrical wiring must meet current electrical code standards and all supporting structures must be appropriately grounded. All wiring must also be approved by the electrical inspector.
(6) Nothing shall be permitted on the antenna structure, or in its proximity, which is unrelated to the antenna function, except that, a vision impairing fence or an alternative row of shrubbery shall be erected around the base of the structure in a yard to protect the safety and welfare of all property owners.
(b) The owner of an antenna shall maintain it, and all related components thereto, in good condition and repair, and shall adhere to the latest FCC regulations governing it.
