The Village hereby establishes a snow removal service for the driveways of senior or infirm residents of the Village, which shall be administered in accordance with the following:
(a) Residents must meet income and age or infirmity guidelines as established by the Mayor.
(b) Residents must fill out a letter of application. The Village reserves the right to ask for verification of all information in the application.
(c) Driveways will be serviced a maximum of once in a 24-hour period.
(d) Driveways will be serviced only after a snowfall has ended, and only if the snow fall measures at least three (3) inches.
(e) Residents are not eligible for this service if an able-bodied adult who would not otherwise qualify for this program on his/her own live in the household.
(f) The Village reserves the right to cancel or alter snow removal services if the total cost of the program exceeds five thousand dollars ($5,000) in any one year.
