(a) The Village of Silver Lake does hereby adopt the procedure established in Ohio R.C. 3929.86(C) and (D), for purposes of receiving insurance proceeds for the removing, repairing or securing of fire damaged buildings or other structures and extends the same to environmentally damaged sites or locations.
(b) The Clerk-Treasurer and the Mayor or his designee shall jointly be designated as officers authorized to carry out the duties set forth therein.
(c) A Rotary Trust Account shall be established for purposes of receiving the proceeds of any such fire policy or other from the underwriting insurance company or companies.
