Any owner or occupant upon whom an order has been served as provided in Section 1505.05 may, within forty-eight hours, file a written appeal to such order with the Mayor, who shall, within three days, review such order and file his decision therein with the chief fire prevention inspector. Unless the Mayor finds that such fire hazard or violation of law or ordinance does not exist, and by his authority, the inspector's order is revoked or modified, such order shall remain in full force and be complied with within the time fixed by the decision of the Mayor.
