1357.04 CITIZENS HOUSING COMMITTEE.
   (a)    There is hereby created a Citizens Housing Committee, with functions and responsibilities as established in this chapter. Such Committee shall consist of seven members, one each from each of the voting precincts and three at large within the Village. The term to be served by the original members shall be one, two, three and four year terms. Two members shall serve a one year term, two members shall serve a two year term, two members shall serve a three year term and one member shall serve a four year term. Thereafter at the expiration of any term, the new member shall serve a four year term. If any member resigns, dies or moves out of the district, a replacement member from that district shall be appointed by Council for the balance of the unexpired term of office. Two of the seven members on the Citizens Housing Committee shall be from the Planning Commission of the Village.
 
   (b)    Citizens Housing Committee is hereby vested with the following jurisdiction and responsibilities:
(1)    To review all alleged violations of the property maintenance provisions of this chapter as specified in Section 1357.01 through 1357.03 and to submit written recommendations thereon to the Mayor.
(2)    Perform all other functions delegated to the Committee under the terms of this chapter.
(3)    A majority of the members shall constitute a quorum for the purpose of dealing with the alleged violation.
