(a) Service equipment installed, irrespective of type, should be of such capacity as to permit the full utilization of the capacity of the service entrance conductors installed at the time of the original installation.
(b) Service entrance equipment shall be a minimum of 100 ampere capacity per family in single or multiple dwellings and either of the automatic breaker or the safety type fuse.
(c) The size of service entrance conductors for single family dwellings shall be three wire, 100 ampere, copper conductors or conductors of equivalent capacity, from service drop to service entrance equipment.
(d) All service ground wire shall be a minimum gauge of No. 4 copper, to be installed subject to the approval of the Electrical Inspector, and shall be grounded in accordance with the provisions of the National Electrical Code. Ground rod, when used, must be installed approximately one inch from building wall and driven to the finished grade level and shall be left accessible for inspection.
