The Building Inspector shall have the authority to demand a test of any particular item of construction selected by him from a job, or at the source of supply.
Authorized agencies and/or laboratories, for approval of materials and methods shall be as follows, and as amended from time to time: Akron University, Kent State University, Ohio State University, Michigan State University, University of Illinois, University of Indiana, Pittsburgh Testing Laboratories, Case Western Reserve University, Research Institute Laboratory of NAHB, and such agencies as are approved by the TBOA.
Results of tests by manufacturers, wholesalers and retailers, if the test is conducted under the supervision of the MMB, or one of its authorized agents, shall be approved and accepted.
