1309.04 DUTIES OF BUILDING INSPECTOR.
   (a)    The duties of the Building Inspector under "Building Structures" shall be to determine compliance with this Code and check and approve plans for the stability of the structures, means of egress, safety to life and property from fire hazards incident to the design, construction, erection, alteration, enlargement, repair, removal, moving, demolition, conversion, equipment use and occupancy of the buildings or structures. The Building Inspector shall notify the architect, engineer, contractor or owner of the approval or disapproval of the plans in writing with copies of the approval or disapproval directed to the Village Planning Commission and the Clerk-Treasurer.
 
   (b)    After approval of plans has been secured and a permit for construction has been issued, the Building Inspector shall make the following inspections:
(1)    After the excavation has been made and prior to the construction of the footings.
(2)    After completion of the foundation walls and prior to framing of the structure.
(3)    After completion of framing and prior to lathing and plastering.
(4)    After completion of structure and prior to occupancy.
