It is the intent of this chapter to provide for development of the property in the Village while protecting and conserving the public health, safety, and welfare by minimizing water run-off and soil erosion problems incurred in adjustments to the topography. It is also the intent to preserve wherever possible the natural beauty of the landscape by encouraging the maximum retention of natural drainage streams, swales, trees, and other natural vegetation.
