933.04 FEES FOR WATER TAPS AND METERS.
   (a)   The following fees for water taps and water meters in the Village are hereby established:
      (1)   For each original water tap, two hundred twenty-five dollars ($225.00) shall be charged and collected.

      (2)   For each new water service or replacement requested by the water customer, the inside meter and outside transmitter shall be charged to the water customer and collected from the water customer at cost of said items to the Village. A remote water meter shall be installed and all fees may be waived if replacement by the water department is caused by a defective water meter.
If an unauthorized removal of the outside transmitter occurs, the transmitter shall be charged to the water customer and collected from the water customer at the cost of said item to the Village along with any supplies needed and fees for service as indicated in Section 107.03 of the Codified Ordinances to the water customer.

(3)   In addition to the above charges, the charge for the mechanical use of any Village equipment shall be at the rate provided by ordinance for the use of Village equipment for the benefits of third parties.

(4)   In addition to fees set forth in subsection (a)(2) hereof, a permit/inspection fee of twenty-five dollars ($25.00) shall be charged and collected prior to the time of the installation of non-sewered water service.

   (b)   The Clerk-Treasurer is authorized, empowered and directed to provide for the above services and to charge and collect the fees herein established prior to the time of the installation of the services and to credit the fees collected to the Water Fund.
