No person shall remove any tree of a diameter greater than six inches which is not deceased upon any lands which have not been allotted within the corporate limits of the Village without prior approval of the Mayor and the Director of Public Service. Any property owner dissatisfied with the decision of the Mayor and Director of Public Service may appeal such decision to Council.
The removal of each tree shall constitute a separate offense.
In addition to the penalties provided for such offense, the Village may seek injunctive relief to prevent the removal of trees on unallotted lands.
