§ 155.02 ADOPTION OF ZONING REGULATIONS AND AMENDMENTS.
   (A)   In order to promote the public health, safety, morals, and general welfare of the city and the citizens, residents, owners, and occupants thereof; and to facilitate orderly and harmonious development in the visual or historical character of the city and to regulate the density of population and intensity of land use therein in order to provide for adequate light and air, and in order to provide for vehicle parking and loading space; and to facilitate fire and police protection; and to prevent the overcrowding of land, blight, danger, and congestion in circulation of people and commodities and the loss of life, health, or property from fire, flood, and other dangers; and to protect highways and other transportation facilities, public facilities, including schools and public grounds, historical districts, central business districts, natural resources, and other specific areas of the city which need specific protections, and pursuant to the authority of KRS 100.121, 100.203, and 100.207, the City Council hereby ordains as follows.
      (1)   The “proposed zoning ordinance” attached to Ordinance 82-1201, as amended, and made a part of this code by reference, is hereby adopted as the official zoning ordinance of the city.
      (2)   The official zoning ordinance of the city shall be available for public inspection in the offices of the Zoning Administrator during normal business hours.
   (B)   Any reference to the Northern Kentucky Area Planning Commission in the official zoning ordinance of the city is hereby deleted and there is also hereby deleted any requirement of conducting any dealings whatsoever by any entity with the Northern Kentucky Area Planning Commission under the official zoning ordinance of the city. Where there is any requirement under the zoning ordinance to make application to or otherwise deal with the Northern Kentucky Area Planning Commission under the official zoning ordinance, the application or requirement shall be made to the City Zoning Administrator.
