§ 96.01 ESTABLISHMENT OF SERVICE AUTHORIZED.
   The City Council hereby authorizes the establishment of 911 Emergency Telephone Service within the city, with a maximum fee not to exceed $0.55 per access line per month for the first 18 months of installation; a maximum fee not to exceed $3.30 per access line per month for the initial charge thereafter, with neither charge to exceed the total cost of 25 access lines per month on each monthly telephone bill. Also, the Mayor is authorized, if it become necessary, to enter into a new local cooperation agreement or to amend such agreement among the cities and the county as to those matters and to adopt regulations concerning the provision of the 911 service.
