(A) The owner or occupant shall be served with a notice of hearing as provided in § 152.10 by being personally served a copy of the same by the Building Inspector, a township police officer, or other person of sound age and discretion who may generally serve process in the State of Michigan at least ten days prior to the date of hearing.
(B) If service is made by certified mail, the Building Inspector shall mail a copy of this notice of hearing to persons entitled thereto at least 15 days prior to the date of the hearing.
(C) In the case of both personal service or service by certified mail, the person making service on behalf of the township shall file a proof of service with the township.
