A. Except as provided in this chapter, that certain mechanical code known and designated as the 2022 California Mechanical Code (CMC) (Part 4, Title 24, California Code of Regulations), based on the 2021 Uniform Mechanical Code, including the appendix to the Uniform Mechanical Code, published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, shall be and become the code of the city, regulating and controlling the design, construction, installation, quality of materials, location, operation and maintenance of heating, ventilating, cooling, refrigeration systems, incinerators and other miscellaneous heat producing appliances.
B. One copy of the California Mechanical Code has been deposited in the office of the City Clerk and shall be at all times maintained by the Clerk for use and examination by the public. (Ord. 2022-12-1542 § 9: Ord. 2019-12-1510 § 7 (part))
