15.16.010   California Plumbing Code adopted.
   A.   Except as provided in this chapter, that certain plumbing code known and designated as the 2022 California Plumbing Code (CPC) (Part 5, Title 24, California Code of Regulations), based on the 2021 Uniform Plumbing Code, including the appendix to the Uniform Plumbing Code, published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, shall be and become the code of the city, regulating erection, installation, alteration, repair, relocation, replacement, maintenance or use of plumbing systems within the city.
   B.   One copy of the California Plumbing Code has been deposited in the office of the City Clerk and shall be at all times maintained by the Clerk for use and examination by the public.
