Current signs that are classified as non-legal nonconforming freestanding signs, as defined in Section 151.24.002.E, must be brought into conformance or removed from the premises. However as an alternative to removing the sign, the total sign area can remain at its current size provided the height of the sign is reduced to a maximum of 10 feet high when measured from the adjoining street pavement. Other sign regulations (other than size and height) apply.
