The Director of Public Works and/or the City Engineer, be and he is hereby directed to use those certain specifications designated as the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) Specifications and Details for Public Works Construction and supplements thereof as may hereafter be adopted, as the official documents regulating practices, procedures, materials and workmanship for any public works construction, public or private, which require the review, endorsement, inspection or acceptance by the Director of Public Works and/or the City Engineer.
