(A) This chapter sets forth the requirements for the control of pollutants and illicit discharges that are or may be discharged to the City of Sierra Vista Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4). The purpose of this chapter is to enable the city to comply with all applicable state and federal laws related to stormwater management, including but not limited to, the Clean Water Act (33 U.S.C. §§ 1251 et seq.), the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System Regulations (40C.F.R. Part 122), the Arizona Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (AZPDES) Permit (Arizona Administrative Code R18-9-A902), and the city's stormwater management plan.
(B) This Chapter includes all MS4 stormwater management programs including construction, post-construction, and illicit discharge detection and elimination.
