(a) Before the Building Inspector issues a contractors registration under the provisions of this chapter, and prior to each renewal thereof, each applicant for registration, in the manner prescribed by the Building Inspector, shall provide proof of liability insurance) either premises liability insurance or commercial liability insurance), which shall be maintained at all times thereafter.
(b) The liability insurance required for a contractors registration shall be written by an acceptable insurance company licensed to do business in the State of Ohio. The liability insurance shall be a minimum limit of liability at no less than $100,000.00 for damages to a single person and $300,000.00 for any one occurrence.
