The Building Code of the City shall apply to all buildings and structures hereafter erected, altered, repaired, moved or demolished within the corporate limits of the City, except those buildings and structures which are subject to control by the State through the enforcement of the Ohio Basic Building Code. The Sidney Building Code is designed particularly to regulate residential building construction and is applicable to the following: single-family, two-family and three-family dwelling houses and one-family townhouses not more than three stories in height.
